Custom Auto Paint in Huntington, New York

1 min read

Refinishing is in the name over the door. It has been the core of this auto body shop since 1980, and every bit of it happens in house.

Color matching that accounts for age

A factory code is a starting point. Long Island sun, salt air off the Sound, and a decade of weather move a finish away from where it began, and paint varies between production batches to begin with.

We mix from the code, spray a card, and compare it against your vehicle in daylight before anything is committed. Then color is blended into adjacent panels so the transition sits mid-surface rather than at a panel gap, which is where a mismatch announces itself.

The range of work

Bumper paint after a scrape. Scratch repair on a single door. Clear coat restoration where the base is sound but the top layer has gone chalky. Complete repaints on vehicles worth keeping. We take on cars, motorcycles, and specialty vehicles, so an unusual request is not automatically a problem.

Custom work

Color changes, one-off finishes, and paint on project vehicles. Custom jobs are quoted after a conversation rather than off a list, because what people mean by custom varies enormously. Bring photographs of what you have in mind.

One customer put it plainly: he would trust us with his exotic muscle cars. That is the kind of work we like having in the booth.

Small jobs are welcome

A scraped bumper corner does not need to become a whole-panel project. Where a spot repair is genuinely the right call we will say so, and where it will halo and look worse in six months we will say that instead.
